You need to listen to yourself - very seriously. You have spoken the truth.

Honda (accords in particular) are plagued with horrifying transmission defects.
Do an internet search of 2004 honda accord transmission recall (and many past
years).

Honda has some nasty arrogant dealers out there ( as do all auto companies -
but honda is more arrogant).

I do not trust honda to fix my transmission or my broken air conditioner or
anything else. I am stuck with a 2004 accord that i may never get rid of.

I will say that they do make one reliable vehicle which is the civic, but is is
dangerously underpowered for any use on the highway.

Volkswagon is a horrifying car company and makes cars that will leave you
stranded out in the cold desert sun wondering what happened to your brain when
you purchased this car.

Do your research and I hope you make a wiser decision to purchase a vehicle
than I did.

Dealer lots are bloated with 2004 accords with bad - very bad - horribly bad
transmissions.

Save yourself before it is too late.
