By that same token said cheap vehicle has TONS of mods available. If the
poster wants to change his dash, why shouldn't he? Is there a legitimate
reason why he can't do what he's asking? He prolly doesn't care that YOU
would think he's a poseur.

I have a 2004 Civic VP (Value Package). I would like to add a tachometer
to it. I would like to buy either a new or slightly used EX gauge
cluster and do a direct swap. My question is - since my odometer is
digital, will the new odometer read my current milage or will it read
the milage on the new odometer? Is the milage on my car stored in the
ECU or in the speedometer itself? Any help would be appreciated -
Thanking you in advance.
Jeff
