You didn't mention (in your earlier post) that the check engine light was
on. If it wasn't on already, then when you short the 2-P connector, it will
only light up (to show you that it *can* blink) and will not flash out codes.
Was the engine light on in the first place? Also, have you tried reading
codes out of the transmission (it flashes D4 light I think)
