As already mentioned, it's often a question of the connector making bad
contact.. The electrical sensor pickup is mounted on and driven by the
same shaft as the power steering speed modulator shown here
http://tinyurl.com/2pcaw as part # 9 and which, as you can see, is mounted
on the top rear of the differential/clutch/torque converter housing. The
P/S modulator is easy to pinpoint by the two P/S fluid hoses attached to
it. The electrical part is shown here http://tinyurl.com/22j2o - there
seem to be two styles of part. If you take the electrical pickup off be
careful not to lose the little "joint" pin.
