Seems to me to be a trade off between handling in the ice and snow and
performance on dry. Although "Q" is only rated to 99 mph, I am much more
confident driving in slush at 65mph with these than another tire which
compromises the winter handling for dry performance - then again, as I
mentioned, I am in Nova Scotia where these are real issues on a daily basis
for up to six months!
