DOT 4 brake fluid meets higher standards for dry and wet boiling
points than DOT 3, but is otherwise compatible with DOT 3 (and
will typically be labeled as both DOT 4 and DOT 3).

Don't mix DOT 5 brake fluid with DOT 3 or DOT 4 brake fluid.
