Those instructions[removing bumper etc.] are for removing the headlight
assembly...not the light bulb. Changing the bulb is a very easy procedure,
if that is what you are referring to.

There is a plastic air intake pipe right in the way. Is the air intake
easily removed? I don't see how to replace the lamp without removing the
pipe I don't see how the pipe is removed. How do I get the air intake out
of the way?
