Default Re: is karr security upgrade recommended on honda pilot 2004 model ?

Generally speaking anytype of alarm purchased through the dealer that didn't
come from the factory is a rip-off. That is how they make their money.
Along with the stupid-ass overprice "paint protectant", "anti-stain interior
scotchgard" , undercoating (which can void many warranties) and the other
little overpriced crap like the $5 worth of pinstriping that they insist you
pay $250 on up for. Personally I would never pay for any of it or the
extended warranty which doesn't seem to cover anything that actually breaks.

For that $500 you could have a very nice alarm installed, with remote start
options and all kinds of other goodies that you won't get from the dealer.
