Why? Because that's what newsgroups are for. Experienced owners and
potential owners still want / need to know what's coming in the newer
models.

Some new owners live 100 miles from their dealer. Some will ask for help
from the broad knowledge base represented here, rather than spend an
hour on the phone with a dealer that doesn't read (or understand) the
service bulletins that arrive daily. Some folks can't get along without
their car for a week while the dealer swaps the rear differential three
times (CRV) before they find out what's really causing the problem. :-(

Sure, the ones who haven't figured out what the owner's manual is their
_friend_ should be shot at dawn, but they're here for _our_ entertainment.
