Re: Car does not go uphill when starting from stop
This particular year has a tendency to get stuck on a certain higher
gears, which usually displays a blinking shift light. This means that
accelerating or going uphill from a stop will be sluggish but does not
affect high-speed hill climb. Cure: replace ecu capacitor(s) if shift
light is noticed.
Have T-fluid checked warmed, usually.
T-fluid will not pump if screen is clogged, particularly, metal
fragment. Analyze dipstick fluid for metallic particles.
