If you're in Australia, all cars sold new here since 1970 have had ADR
plates.

Does it have an original manufacturer's ADR plate which matches the rest
of the numbers on the car? If it does, then it's a legitimate local
delivery.

Of course the usual cautions about reborn stolen local cars or imported
cars apply, just as they do with any other car.
