Torrance, Calif. 08/07/2003 -- Enhancements to include:

Expanded availability of side curtain airbags
Addition of XM satellite radio as standard equipment
Expanded availability of ultra-clean PZEV models to select Northeastern
states
The 2004 Accord Sedan goes on sale today with prices for the sedan
line-up increasing an average of just 1.31 percent or $358 on a sales
weighted basis, American Honda Motor Co., Inc, announced today. This is
the first price increase since the Accord's introduction as an all-new
model in September, 2002.

New features for 2004 models include supplemental restraint system (SRS)
side curtain airbags as standard equipment on 4-cylinder EX models
equipped with a leather interior and as a factory-installed option on EX
models with A cloth interior. All 4- and 6-cylinder EX models equipped
with a leather interior will now feature XM Satellite Radio with three
months of free service as standard equipment.

"This is another example of Honda's commitment to delivering real,
long-term, value to its customers through added features and continuous
product improvements," said Tom Elliott, executive vice president of
American Honda Motor Co., Inc.
