With that mileage and vintage Accord, I would treat the EGR passage
cleaning as regular maintance. I had this done to my '93 Accord at
100k miles. This is only one of the handful of flaws on my Accord
that I've had to correct to keep it running. Here is a complete list
of the problems I've had with my Accord since I bought it new in '93.

#1. Bad ingniter replaced.
#2. Cheap-ass factory radiator replaced.
#3. Cold solder joint in main relay resoldered.
#4. EGR passages need to be drilled out.

Now that I've had these well-known defects corrected, I expect
to get another 300k miles out of the car without any surprises.
