Huh? Surely it's possible to change the fan without touching the A/C
system at all. You might have had to remove, maybe just lift a bit, the
radiator but that's a lot easier to deal with than the A/C system.

If you opened the system to the atmosphere, you're going to have to pull a
strong vacuum for an hour or so before recharging with refrigerant - might
also want to think about a new receiver/dryer. You should be able to find
R-134a recharge kits at any auto parts store or WalMart but to do the job
right you should really use a gauge/manifold set.
