The service manager at the local honda dealership told me that the timing
belt should be replaced after 7 years or at 75,000 miles--whichever comes
first.
In other words, you should have your timing belt replaced during your next
scheduled service. It's a good idea to have your water pump changed at the
same time--according to the service manager. Of course, if you have ever
replaced the water pump--don't replace the water pump when you have the
timing belt changed.
