triplezzz.....you sleeping at the wheel??...zzz ???
The LEXUS salesman LIED TO YOU...he wanted to sell you his overpriced
CAMRY...$ 34.5K + another $ 2 grand sales tax....TOO MUCH MONEY !! It will
be worth $ 15 ~ $ 17K in 3 years (end of 2006) if you're lucky...you'll drop
$ 17K ~ $ 19K in 3 years...OUCH.
Check out the TL 2004 and the latest pictures:

You think it is an Accord re-badged look again...nothing similar !! Also,
the resale value would be better at the end of 2006 since it is a new model
+ body style.
I am not saying ES300 is a lousy car ...it's quality is probably as good or
better than the Acura (this is a highly debateable issue)....but you would
have done better with the TL 2004.
My 2 cents.

Yes I could have waited for the 2004 TL, BUT, it's just a rebadged
European Accord! The salesman also said that the '04 model was going
to start at $35K. Anybody have an idea if that is right?
I've read a lot of people say that the ES300 is the same as a Camry,
but I don't know anyone who said that who also test drove both. Maybe
they're out there, and if so, I'd LOVE to hear their opinions too.
I've dealt with Honda service, so I'm willing to pay a bit more to get
better. Things like getting my car back on time, service appointments
being kept, and getting a loaner car mean a lot to me.
You're right about the Lexus SUV's though. They're sweet-looking
