Thanks, all, for your input. I mulled it over the weekend. Should I
get an Accord EX v6, Acura TL, or Lexus ES300? Well, I decided to go
with the 2003 Lexus ES300 with Nav system, premium package (leather
and all that) for $34,500, which I think is $500 under invoice.

I liked the TL's price (dealer offered invoice for TL w/o Nav), but
couldn't stomach getting the last of a generation. And frankly, I
thought the exterior styling was deplorable and wouldn't age well. The
car didn't exude quality.

So I paid more for a Lexus whose looks I thought would age better. And
I just liked the way it looked. After looking at the specs on the TL,
it became a question of the Accord EX v6 vs. Lexus ES300. I couldn't
see the point of paying up for the TL when the 2003 Accord pulled more
horses and almost all the same features.
