You should change the timing belt at 60,000 miles for the 4 cyl models too. Remember this is a "belt" not a timing chain. Belts don't last as long as chains do. If you don't change the belt and it breaks while you are driving, or reving at high rpm, you will probably do severe damage to your valves, pistons, piston rods, and ither internal engine parts.
