You won't lose your keyless remote capabilities if you remove the radio.
You may have heard rumor of something like that; that was on the Civic,
not the Accord.

Replace away.

You can test this by removing the head unit. It's brutally simple;
three screws and a yank to remove the trim piece, and 4 8mm bolts to
remove the radio so you can pull the single wire harness plug from it.
Then try your remote. It'll work, guaranteed.
