I sure want to hear some suggestions. Methinks these ABS
cylinders/pumps/.modulators....the whole cylinder.....has a mere 10 year
lifespan. I'd already replied to your earlier post, Ray. This is funny, cuz
I was just online looking for the best price I could find on a new cylinder.
I have the same problem you do. On my '92 Integra, I'll get down the block
(~ 1 mile, on a good day) & it'll come on. Sometimes, a little later on,
though. I took her in today to get a new radiator, so one thing at a time
for me right now with these repairs, esp. when we're talkin' an ABS
replacement. I'm just gonna go new this time around. I got a used one from
HAP Recyclers in CA for ~$200, & the 1st one they sent out was no good after
having had it installed, so I called HAP & they sent out another one
immediately (6 month warranty). Well, that was only ~ 2 years ago. Unless I
hear of a easier fix for this (besides disabling the whole thing & not
having ABS), I'm gonna throw a new one in it. Where I buy it from & choosing
one of my qualified mechanics vs. dealer to do it is another story
altogether. Good luck---keep us informed on what you do! (I don't plan on
selling my Teg. I'll drop another engine in it before I do that).
