If you can find the factory kit--it shouldn't be hard--there will be no
implications.

Honda's legacy is that A/C is a factory part that's installed at the
dealer. Over the past 15 or so years that's changed quite a bit--most
cars come with it from the factory--but for those lower end cars where
it's an option, adding it in ends up giving you a car that's just like
the A/C came on it from the factory.

It's probably $1100 total installed at the dealer. The kit is $600 or
so and the labor is $500 or so.
