I have a 99 Ford Taurus as a company car. I am now on my third Honda car
and still on my first honda lawnmower (1990 model). The Taurus has about
66K miles on it and I have had it in the shop for window motors,
transmission, emissions problems, and the other day I reached into the
console and the top came off in my hands. $8000 is allot of money but
factor in your time at the repair shop if you decide on the Taurus.
