I'm pretty sure it will - the special stuff is in the cylinder rather than the switch. Be aware that the reliability of ignition switches in that entire year range was the pits - see the source. The second source has a pictorial procedure for the replacement. Don't over-tighten the two screws - the switch can snap in two (don't ask me how I know).
