I am posing this question here, as well as at Odyclub, since it may
apply to more than Odysseys, and some Odyssey owners may not go there.

The A/X in my wife's 2001 Odyssey EX occasionally stops cooling. The
fan continues to blow, nothing else is noticably different - it is still
a drag on the motor, and so forth. But the air coming out of the vents
will get warmer, just as if I left the fan on and turned the compressor
off. Sometimes it will start blowing cool/cold air again quickly.
Sometimes it will not blow cold again for quite a while (forty-five
minutes yesterday on the Interstate). The Honda dealership will only
check it when I bring it to them. Since I have not been able to get it
to them *while* it was malfunctioning, they won't attempt to diagnose
it, much less resolve it.

Any ideas? I have done some searching, and although I have seen the A/C
as a topic in some discussions, I have not seen this kind of
intermittent cooling as a topic.
