When you first get in the car, and BEFORE starting it up, play with the clutch to get a feel for how stiff it is... Your civic should feel like butter compared to that turbo S2000 which probably has a performance clutch on it.
Do this with ANY car and you'll be okay... I drive a 5spd Blazer, and I can drive any other standard no problem, I just toy with the clutch for a minute or two to get used to the stiffness... Once you start it up, without using throttle you can let off the clutch SLOWLY and see where the car will start to roll... Then you should be good to go, You already know how to throttle up while letting out and everything else... just the subtle differences that can get in the way sometimes.
Sounds like a nice car... in reverse, a tip... try not using the throttle if you don't have to when you're backing up, clutch control should be plenty.
