What year is your MDX? I've seen both generations with 22" rims and neither have had problems with rubbing. 21's would be perfect, I wouldn't suggest anything bigger than that. I have seen 24's on an '02 MDX, it didn't look right and it had the lowest (25 series) profile tires.
