Since you're not planning on lowering your car, KYB GR2 or Tokico Blues are near OEM replacements and will do you justice. You do not need to switch out springs unless they are bad.































If you plan on doing some events with the car and lowering it lower than 2", I'd invest in some Koni Yellow shocks at least. However, if you just want a good set of shocks and mild drop I would recommend the KYB AGX or Tokico Illumina. All three are adjustable in terms of dampening but the Koni is far superior. Ground control coilover sleeves are what I'd recommend for these shocks otherwise H&R has good springs that would mate really well.































If a more complete package is what you're looking for, there's a lot of manufacturers out there with full coilovers now days. TEINs are old news but still popular. Brands like Form and Function and Skunk2 has their own coilovers in various levels.































Difference between Mono Tube and Twin Tube is the way they operate. Basically a Mono tube are better at dissipating heat, has a larger piston, they function whether the shock is right side up or upside down and is newer design. Twin tube are an older design which can't dissipate heat as well but cheaper to manufacture. Advantage of twin tube though is that it tends to have a better ride quality. Both types can be seen on race cars however most are moving to mono tubes because of the performance gain.
