In 1986, I bought a new car from a dealer who said I'd get two free plane tickets to Hawaii. All I had to do was pay for my hotel and food and I was good to go.

That was 23 years ago and I am still waiting. My guess is you will be waiting that long for some lousy barbecue.

I'm sure the dealer gave away a few free barbecues to avoid any lawsuits. But the chance of you getting a barbecue is almost zero.

Want to play hard ball? Go to the dealership (DO NOT CALL), see the General Manager, tell them you want your barbecue now or you want a $100 service voucher. If you don't get them immediately you will take them to small claims court for breech of contract.

You got a 50-50 chance of getting anything out of them. Still want the friggin barbecue?
