That sounds normal enough to me. Accords have fairly heavy power steering - they are just made that way.































By all means check the power steering fluid, but never, ever, use anything but genuine Honda power steering fluid. There is at least one brand of replacement fluid out there - I don't recall the name - that claims to be compatible with Hondas and is just not as bad as other fluids. Using power steering fluid that is not specifically made for Hondas is a quick way to destroy the seals in the rack and pump.
