Honda Accord and Civic are two reliable models, which has good reputation in performance and fuel efficiency. If you are planning to buy Accord go for the 1998 - 2006 models. In case of Civic there is not much changes in the body style in later years. Also check for Honda fit, it is the most fuel efficient honda in present market. In short if you are buying a used honda, i will recommend not to go for one with the high mileage like 170,000 it is no better than kia or hyundia.
