i programed a 1999 cl, i think it could be the same process. I put the key in the ignition, turned it to the "on" position, hit the lock button on the remote, and then turn it back off. repeat this prosess two more times. i know when the locks cycle through, (they will unlock and re-lock) hit the lock button again. It worked for me, i'm not sure about for you. sorry if this didn't work. Let me know if this worked, i'll look for the instructions from my programming if it doesn't.
