Considering that the car is pretty old now and there are a lot of them around I would just suggest looking into just getting a whole another engine from a private seller locally. Sometimes a rebuilt kit can even cost you more than just another used engine but then again it may last you longer than another used engine. If you are having other problems with like starter or distributor or fuel issues I would just look into an engine swap from somebody locally. If you just need the internals replaced then just get an engine rebuilt kit.
