No. Since Honda makes Acura I'm assuming they're the same. My mother's '97 Accord has a 5 digit code specific to that vehicle. Yours should be on a little card with the owner's manual. You have three attempts and if all are wrong it locks up. In order to begin the process again you have to disconnect and reconnect the battery and it resets and allows you to enter the code again. As stated, if you don't have the card you should be able to obtain it through the dealership using your VIN#.
