I have a '94 CX and personally I'd rather have a CR-X any day. But who knows if the engine is reliable or not, because he doesn't even have a clue how many miles on it. D16Z6's are in general reliable, it's an engine from the '92-'95 Si hatchback and the EX's. I agree that it does look a little suspect, at least with the front bumper and hood that apparently have been replaced. I would check out the front of the car more, specifically the radiator support area, to see if it's bent. And also do a Carfax report on it before buying it. The last thing you should do is trade a perfectly good car for one that will never drive right because of frame damage.
