Does changing the oil help? What does the dealer suggest? Are the valves
adjustable? Piston slap is not unusual on all Hondas, especially when
cold, but 'ticking' is usually valves, an you can tell because it's a
half-speed noise. Your definition of COLD might be -40C, so I'm guessing
that Danes use 5w-20 oil, or synthetic, right?
At 20,000 km, I'd get the valves adjusted and the 'Dual Pump Fluid' (no
connection) changed just for the peace of mind. :-)
When it's -40 here, (Western Canada) we get several extra noises under
the hood too, but all go away after about two minutes.
