I would tend to keep the Versa until the second generation Insight has some time in the real world.The new Insight may be a fantastic hybrid. But it's a new package that could benefit from two years of life being driven on streets and freeways.Spending the kind of money they are asking for a brand new model isn't a bright move. Keep your current car and do what you can to improve your driving habits. A change of tires, nitrogen gas instead of compressed air, regular oil and filter changes. All of these will help and be a whole lot cheaper than a brand new car that may or may not get 40 miles per gallon.
