to take the mirror off... directly behind it there on the inside there is a little triangular cover.. pull the top of the cover really hard because its held in on clips... it might be a bit tricky if its a manually adjusted mirror... when you take tat cover off there are three 10 bolts holding the mirror on and thats it... if the mirror is electric there is a block connection behind that cover and you simply disconnect it... there is no need to take off the major section of the door upholstry
