I cannot get reverse gear in my 1989 acura integra(auto transmission).I can get froward gears.This happened after being stuck in snow and trying to rock back and forth to get ou.I got out but now have no reverse,doesn't even make a sound when I put in rev. Fluid level ok,hot and cold. Garage suggested rev.band broken and transmission needs to replaced,or other option just to drive forward and find suitable parking.Will this harm transmission.What other suggestions to repair rev.besides removal or replacement?Thanks in advance.
