In 2007 Honda Civics (maybe in '06s, '08s and '09s too I'm not sure) an automatic notifier comes up on the dash when your oil life is down to 15% and you need to get an oil change. I just had my oil changed before this notification came up (at around 25%) at a local non-dealer car shop because it's a heck of a lot cheaper, but the oil life did not change back to 100%. Does this mean that my oil wasn't changed or wasn't changed properly? Or does it need to be reset manually? If it has to be reset do you know how to do it?
