Could be a loose throttle body spring. If you'd open up your hood, there's a
circular pulley that you can press (on top of the throttle body, behind the
engine) which moves when you press your gas pedal. Probably the spring that
returns the pulley back to idle position is getting stuck. You can
tighten/loose it a little and see if that makes a difference. Also, you
might want to put some grease on the cable by the pulley to make it slide
easier.
