If really depends on your budget and power goal. If it has a 2.2 liter VTEC 4cyl, that is an excellent base for performance mods.I'd start with a cold air intake. That will add about 8-10 horsepower and cost about $250. It will also make your engine look better.

VTEC motors have a stock high compression ratio which is COMPLETELY unsuitable for a turbo kit unless you change the heads, cam, and pistons. That would cost an arm and a leg! VTEC motors are designed to make a lot of naturally aspirated power without a power adder such as a turbo or supercharger.
