Reading these posts has raised a question that I have about transmission fluid in hondas. This is something that I had heard from someone and wasnt really sure how true it was. I was told that its better to leave the transmission fluid alone in an older honda with over 100,000 miles on it. Now granted, I dont know much about vehicles but if it gets low then obviously Im going to want to fill it back up but, this person said " Dont ever go and get a transmission flush in your honda, your car will never be the same again." I have a 96 accord with 168,000 miles on it. Now, is this statement really true or or just totally false???
