Now and then just driving along the green light on the shifter when in drive " D " starts flashing just like a turn signal would. If I stop and turn off the engine it will stop but may do it again at any time. The car seems to run fine, shift fine, it is just the light. I bought it new in 2002 and this just started happening. Anybody know whats wrong? I checked the oil and the tranny oil is fine and looks good. I live 90 miles from a dealer and it may not be acting up when I get there so why go if it is not serious. Help and thanks.
