I own an 88 civic Hatchback. It is the STD model apparently. Because it's
not the dx or any other. Now, it's got the D15B2. On the other hand, the DX,
which makes 92 hp aprox, has the same engine. But I have read that there was
a more economic version of this engine, which is the one I have. Is this
true? If it's the same engine, how can it have different horsepower rating?
The manual states the exactly the same bore x stroke specs, as well as the
others, as all the other models (excluting the VTEC). I've found that my
version of this engine has about 70 hp, but I don't know who to believe.
