I probably shouldn't admit this, but here goes.
On my '92 Accord, when the flex joint started to leak, I got a 24''
long piece of 6'' galvanized heat duct at Lowes and four stainless steel
worm clamps. I cut the duct to length and wrapped it around the flex and
clamped it tight. It lasted about five years until the front pipe rusted
through. Local muffler shop sawed off the flex and welded in a new
piece. Cost was about $100. I recently found a place that sells the
whole pipe new for $200. installed. Good Luck! bob
