All Civics are Front Wheel Drive. If you are worried about the winter weather then invest $400-$600 in a set of winter tires and cheap steel rims.I have a 2007 VW GTI - one set of summer performance tires and rims for the Spring, Summer and Fall, and a second set of winter tires on cheap steel rims for the winter. My GTI actually handles better in the snow with winter tires that my old Subaru Impreza did with all-season tires (the Impreza is full time AWD).Remember to adjust your driving style in the winter. Give a lot more space between you and the car infront, and more time to brake - you'll be fine.
