Default Re: 1992 Accord - Shaft, axle, clutch slip? CV joints?

hey, thanks for the response. that's one problem and solution.

i just realized i wasn't too clear on the main problem:

when i'm shifting gears sometimes or giving it gas, it sounds like something is slipping. a squeeky noise - like a dolphin or something... it happens mostly when i take off fast (i have a stick, and it doesn't happen all the time) i don't know much about cars, but it sounds like some kind of power is getting lost - like the driveshaft is stripped (if that's possible).

i was reading somewhere that damaged cv joints can cause problems to the axle - so i then that made me think that maybe there is damage to the axle causing it to slip.

as much as i don't know it sounds/feels like too much power not being applied correctly - like when you try to unloosed a tight screw without pressing down hard - it sounds like something is stripped. ?

Hope this helps, and thanks.
