It depends on how old your car is. I don't know the exact data, but if you bring it over you have to get it checked - and depending on your emissions you will get a green, yellow or red sticker. Some cities don't allow yellow and red-sticker cars in the city centers. (also, before your car is allowed on the road in Germany, it has to pass the TUV Test, where they check everything from emissions to brakes and over-all condition of the vehicle to make sure it's safe on the road. that test is required every 2 years).But there are a bunch of Civics in Germany, so I guess it wouldn't really be that much of an issue if your car is in good shape over all.
