the acura TL would definitely win. first of all, its light compared to the "tank". Initally, the TL would pull away because of the front wheel drive, which gets a big gain on a rear wheel drive car. Then, it will still be ahead because the CTS does not have a great continuous acceleration. in the end, the TL does 0-60mph in 5.9 while the CTS does it in 6.8. This is the CTS V6. THe one with direct injection does 0-60 in 6.1. If you compare the V8s, then the CTS is faster, 5.6. I have my own 2007 acura TL. not much difference compared to the 06, except that they tuned it a bit, added fog lights, and made it louder haha
