Modern vehicles are engineered to last at least 150,000 miles. keep up on the oil changes, drive easy, drive the car even easier in cold weather and when the engine is warming up, and pay attention to noises, smells, sounds , and fluid levels. I had a Jetta last 270k+ miles . I drove it hard, but I also kept it maintained and had to replace parts when they wore out. but as far as the engine itself (the pistons and rings) just do the above mentioned and dont be saddened if you have to invest about $500 a year to keep it going. ( tires, alternator, battery, brakes, fluid changes etc) with only 167k miles , I wouldnt worry. I would expect it to serve you well for the next 3 or 4 years... or 200k miles then you can start worrying
